Hope Ganloff at Susan Inglett Gallery

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

A dreary day for a park. Beautiful gallery weather. My son and I checked out a few spots, including some cool stuff from the Hope Ganloff exhibition at the Susan Inglett gallery.

We enjoyed the visit. Some fresh stuff.

Here are some photos. In-person is even better.

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

We spent the afternoon in Chelsea. And visited the Dan Perjovschi exhibition at the Lombard-Freid Projects gallery.

By request of the gallery, I can not publish Mr. Perjovschi’s actual work. We enjoyed both the gallery and Dan Perjovschi’s work.

Thus, here are some photos touched-up with some SohoKind penguin & bear love.

If you get the chance you should check out Dan Perjovschi’s work in-person.

Gimme! Coffee - Lower East Side

Friday, February 8th, 2008

My son and I have continued going to cafés, visiting our favorites.

There’s a newcomer to the scene and in a premium area for an artisanal café.

Gimme! Coffee

Great espresso!

And a sweet spot of location amongst the laid back, almost hidden boutiques of the Lower East Side just on the ‘other side’ of Broadway from SoHo. Comfortable atmosphere, matching the neighborhood.

The espresso bar-only makes for a narrow shop front, so don’t miss it when you walk by.

It’s a real treat.

Address

Gimme! Coffee - 228 Mott Street, New York between Prince and Spring Streets.
